キム･ヨンジャ（金蓮子、김연자、Kim Yeon-ja) is a Korean singer born 25 January 1959. She made her professional début on Korean television in 1974. In 1977, she released her first Japanese single, "女の一生" (Onna no isshou, A woman's lifetime). She scored her first and greatest hit in 1981 with "歌の花束" (Uta no hanataba, Song bouquet), which sold 3.6 million copies, making it the best-selling single in the history of Korean music.
