Elodie Frégé (b. February 15, 1982 in Cosne-Sur-Loir) was the winner of popular French tv show Star Academy's third season in 2003. Following her victory, she released her debut self-titled album the same year, preceeded by the single De l'eau. The album received mixed reviews from critics but became a top 5 hit in her native France. Dissatisfied with the poor artisitic merits of her debut, Elodie then decided to take a less commercial, more mature route, and released her second album, Le Jeu Des 7 Erreurs, in September 2006.
