Taylor Alison Swift (born on December 13, 1989 in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania) is an American country pop singer-songwriter and actress. In November 2008, Swift released her second album, Fearless. Fearless became the best-selling album of 2009 in the U.S. The album won 4 Grammy Awards, making Swift the youngest ever Album of the Year winner. The 3rd and 4th albums ("Speak Now" and "Red") which followed afterwards, sold more than 1 million copies within the 1st week of their U.S. release. The single "Mean" won 2 Grammy Awards. Taylor Swift is one of the best-selling artists of all time with 7 Grammy awards, 11 Country Music Association Awards, 1 Brit Award, 1 Amy Award and 22 Billboard Awards. Forbes magazine ranked her NO. 64 on the "100 Most Powerful Women" list. Swift was drawn to the storytelling of Country music with influences from major artists like Shania, Faith and the Dixie Chicks. Hill was Swift's childhood role model, in an interview with Taylor she said "Everything she said, did, wore, I tried to copy it.
