About Consuelo Luz
Consuelo Luz draws from her own fascinating Spanish Basque, Sephardic and Mapuche Indian ancestral background. Her first sephardic album Dezeo, co-produced by Grammy-winning producer Jim Wilson and with Ray Obiedo and Jeff Silberman of the Bay Area, is a "world music" style compilation of ancient sephardic prayers and love ballads. Consuelo's other recordings of her own original songs include the recent Missing Water, Yo Se Que Yo Amo, ESPIRITU DE AMOR recorded in Havana with Cuban band Mezcla and SE FUE LA NIÑA recorded in Santiago, chile.
