Minutes before he was do on stage, Red Hot Chili Peppers’ singer, Anthony Kiedis was taken by an ambulance to a hospital for an ‘extreme stomach pain’, so it was reported. Kiedis is now hospitalized in California, no other details were published.
The lovable band was set to headline the ‘KROQ's annual Weenie Roast’. After Kieidis was taken from the venue, bassist Flea made the announcement on stage at the Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre. The band ‘Weezer’ ended up closing the show.
As reported on ‘Billboard’, According to a rep for the Los Angeles radio station, Kiedis was “taken from the venue in an ambulance suffering from extreme stomach pain. The exact nature of the problem is unknown at this time.”
