At the Oscars: Dave Grohl Plays a Touching Cover to The Beatles' 'Blackbird'

Everybody Is Talking About Leonardo DiCaprio, but There Was Another Star Shining Bright on That Stage in Los Angeles

The day after the oscars, everybody is talking about Leonardo DiCaprio, but there was another star shining bright on that stage in Los Angeles. During the ‘In Memoriam’ segment, where the Academy pays tribute to the ones that have passed this year, Dave Grohl played The Beatles’ ‘Blackbird’, and fans couldn’t get enough.

The Foo Fighters man was accompanied by an orchestra. David Bowie, that played in films like ‘Labyrinth’ and ‘The Man Who Fell to Earth’ was also included in the montage. Watch one of the nights most touching parts.
