The David Bowie Tribute concerts will be held this Thursday (March 31) at Carnegie Hall, and at Radio City (April 1) in New York. Many artists, including: Blondie, Pixies, The Roots, Jakob Dylan, Rickie Lee Jones and Bowie’s producer, Tony Visconti will take the stage to perform Bowie’s lovable songs.
One of the most interesting performers in the tribute show is former R.E.M. singer, Michael Stipe. Last night (March 29), Stipe came on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, and performed ‘The Man Who Sold The World’. With a full on beard and a new nose ring, Stipe delivered a wonderful and touching performance. Bowie fans and music lovers in general - just watch this.
